The Native Friendship Centre of Montreal partners with the Kanekó:ta First Nations Regional Adult Education Center (FNRAEC) to support Indigenous adult learners through the on-site Kanekó:ta Adult Education Program. Together, they offer a culturally appropriate, community-based space where Indigenous students can pursue their education, enjoy daily meals, and stay connected to culture and community while working toward their goals.

The Native Friendship Centre of Montreal (NFCM) and the Kanekó:ta First Nations Regional Adult Education Center (FNRAEC) work together to support Indigenous adult learners in Montreal through the on-site Kanekó:ta Adult Education Program.

Building on a partnership established in 2018, FNRAEC provides academic instruction grounded in Indigenous traditions, while NFCM complements this with daily breakfast and hot lunch meals, wraparound supports, and a welcoming, culturally safe community space. Together, they promote education, cultural continuity, and holistic well-being for Indigenous learners.
